This is the memorial we created for my brother and wife. Cal drew up a rough sketch years before his passing to give me an idea of what they wanted. The lighthouse is 3 dimensional and made out of Taj Aurora granite and matching colored flower vase. The table and base are done in Majestic black granite. I photographed the Island where Cal landed the only musky he’d ever caught and added him and his wife Linda in their fishing in the fore front. This scene and the wave are all hand Diamond etched. The poem on the back was written by Cal. He wasn’t the best speller and had arrived spelled with one 'r' (arrived). My family felt he would have wanted it spelled correctly. I hope he agrees. Cal owned R.C.S. electric motor shop. We used a stainless steel motor for his urn. His son Chad polished it to perfection. It shows in front of the monument. From start to finish it took 2 years to complete between all my tears. - Cal's Little Brother Lee
